Dodge dealers have started taking orders for Challenger convertibles. These are not factory versions of the muscle car, but conversions made by Drop Top Customs of High Springs, Florida. It costs $25,999, or 1.6 million rubles, not including the cost of the donor car, to cut the coupe’s roof and add a soft top. The conversion accepts 2022 and 2023 model year two-doors in R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and SRT versions.
Since August 16, Dodge dealers in North America began taking orders for the unveiling of the Challenger versions. Of course, we are not talking about factory modification: cars from Brampton Assembly Plant will be sent to Drop Top Customs of High Springs, Florida. The studio has been engaged in such conversions for a long time, but now it will be supported by Dodge.

The dealer takes care of all the logistics, the buyer will only have to pay for the car and the work to convert it into a convertible, which will cost at least $25,999. The offer is valid for the 2022 and 2023 model year Dodge Challenger in R/T, R/T Scat Pack, and SRT versions, from SRT Hellcat to SRT Super Stock.

The cheapest convertible from Drop Top Customs will cost $65,074 and the most expensive will cost $113,529. In the second case, it will be Challenger SRT Super Stock with 818-horsepower compressed Hellcat V8 6.2. All cars will get a soft top with a hydraulic folding mechanism, which “will take away” only 20 percent of the original volume of the trunk.
The conversion may also be done on used Challengers from 2008 and younger. All work takes eight to 10 weeks. By the way, the Dodge Challenger also had factory open-top versions. But they were produced only for two years – in 1970 and 1971.
