In 2022, the premiere of the flagship modification of the Porsche 911 coupe of the 992 generation — the GT3 RS version — took place – but not everyone needs such an extreme car. For those who need a little more than the standard 911, there is a GT3 version and for it, the German studio DMC Tuning has prepared a project called Velocita, which is a serious modification of a sports car from Germany. At the same time, the main improvements relate to the exterior of the car and its aerodynamics.
The car received a new hood, sills, and louvers of the air ducts on the front wings, and all elements are made of carbon fiber. But the main novelty was the wing. The carbon element, as stated by the tuners, is certified by the German technical supervision authority TUV and homologized by the International Automobile Federation FIA.
The wing is mounted on standard mounts, but it has become much larger and more aggressive. This allows you to increase the downforce on the rear axle. In addition to body parts, which can be made of matte and glossy carbon fiber, DMC offers customers different options for forged wheels and a sports exhaust system made of titanium.
The Porsche 911 GT3 project does not imply any other technical improvements. The car has retained a 510-horsepower atmospheric 4.0-liter opposed engine, which is aggregated with a 6-speed mechanics by default, but it can be replaced with a PDK robot without additional payment.
