The first images of the new Luxgen n7 have hit the Internet. Taiwanese electric crossover will go on sale on October 15 at a price of about $33,000. About this report’s edition Autocar.
Electric car Luxgen n7 is a joint development of automobile concern Yulon Motor and Foxconn, which is known, in the first place, for the fact that is engaged in the production of the iPhone. Last year, a prototype of the electric car was presented under the name Foxtron Model C and two other Foxconn models were shown along with it.
The new Luxgen n7 is a seven-seat electric crossover with a length of 4,640 mm and a wheelbase of 2,860 mm. Its streamlined design with slim headlights was developed in the famous Italian atelier Pininfarina, and Foxconn created its platform.
It is known that the choice will be offered in rear-wheel and all-wheel drive versions up to 408 hp. The range will be about 700 km, and the developers promise ultra-fast charge of the electric car.
Pre-orders for the crossover Luxgen n7 are already being taken, and prepayment is only 1000 Taiwanese dollars or $32. The first buyers will receive special NFT tokens, as well as one-year free passes to the network of fast charging stations.
The first Luxgen electric cars are promised to be delivered to customers in early 2023. Foxconn is also considering opening a plant in the U.S. to supply cars to other countries.
