About 70,000 tires from the TKC80, Contigo!, K62, and LB lines are subject to a recall in the United States due to the possibility of cracking.
All the tires likely to develop cracks in their treads were manufactured between Jan. 6, 2019, and April 30, 2022. In addition to retail sales, they were supplied to the KTM, Husqvarna, and BMW Motorrad assembly lines. As of May 1, 2022, tires of the troubled lines were blocked for sale in the United States.
The motorcycle tire manufacturer will notify all of its partners of the recall campaign between May 30 and June 10, and from June 6 to June 17 will inform customers whose motorcycles have the problem tires. Motorcycle tires covered by the recall campaign will be replaced free of charge with similar tires produced without technological violations.
