The Japanese company Toyota has put on the conveyor a new generation of large SUV Sequoia. This is the third generation of cars. Note that the SUV is focused on the US market, so it is assembled in Texas.
In length, the new Toyota Sequoia reaches 5,286 mm with a wheelbase of 3,099 mm. Note that the car is based on a platform from the high–profile debutant of last year – the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. A hybrid engine was chosen as the power plant.
There will be no other options. It is based on a 3.5-liter turbo engine, and the total output reaches 443 hp. 10 automatic transmissions and all-wheel drive system work in tandem with the engine. Note that with its dimensions, the SUV spends only 10.7 liters of gasoline for every 100 km of the way. This is immediately 5 liters less than the second-generation car.
“The equipment turned out to be very rich – here the SUV will compete with world leaders. There is a Wi-Fi hotspot, intelligent cruise control, lane control system, and emergency braking in automatic mode.”
There is also a spectacular panoramic roof, a projection screen for the driver, and a 360-degree camera. All seats are equipped with a ventilation function. The starting version will cost $59,800, and dealers will ask for $79,800 for the most equipped SUV.
