It’s been less than two months since patent images of Sany’s first electric pickup truck leaked online, and we can already take a look at its second planned electric vehicle.
Sany is a Chinese manufacturer of trucks and construction equipment, and while it is best known for producing cranes, trucks, and excavators, it seems to be challenging for electric car manufacturers.
The red pickup truck depicted in these sketches has an original design. The front part is equipped with a glowing Sany badge, small headlights, and LED DRL, which are slightly shaped like eyebrows.
And there are two large tow hooks and a winch in the front of the truck. In these images posted online by CarNewsChina, the Sany truck has pronounced front and rear wheel arches, which are painted gray to contrast with the main red color of the pickup truck.

Off-road tires also attract attention, as do aggressive rear struts. Both two- and four-door variants are depicted.
As for the rear of the truck, it is equipped with large LED taillights and two full-size light strips forming a light array similar in shape to a treadmill. There are also two additional tow hooks at the rear.
The technical specifications of the car remain a mystery, as do Sany’s plans for this pickup and the one we saw in early May. It is quite possible that the company plans to bring both models to the market. It is possible that they will remain concepts and will be used by the brand as advertising tools.
