Cadillac is working on the second generation of its CT6 luxury sedan, which is likely to be addressed only to the brand’s customers in China.
The Cadillac CT6 sedan of the second generation was first shown in spy photos in March 2022, but then the body of the prototype was securely disguised. This time, the heavy black armor disappeared, and the thin camouflage film could not hide the updated design.
The new CT6 gets modified headlights, and the radiator grille has retained a recognizable shape while trying on a completely different pattern.
Viewed from the side, the CT6 has a redesigned glass roof, the lines have become clearer, and the rear window has become steeper. The rear is still recognizable as a Cadillac, with angular lights and a set of larger chrome linings hiding the exhaust pipes.
“The CT6 will also receive an updated semi-autonomous Super Cruise system, even more, digital appliances, and premium upholstery options.”
The sedan is likely to be built on an updated version of the GM Omega RWD platform, which debuted with the first generation CT6 back in 2015. Under the hood, we expect to see a slightly updated version of the current 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, exclusively paired with a 10-gearbox.

The new Cadillac CT6 may debut in 2023 as a 2024 model.
