The basis of the new project from Brabus was the Mercedes-Benz 450 electric sedan. He received a new aerodynamic body kit, which was tested in a wind tunnel. According to the Germans, the aerodynamics of the electric car improved by 7.2%.
All new body parts are made of carbon fiber and have a glossy or matte finish. Air deflectors are also installed in front of the rear wheel arches to optimize airflow. A different bumper with aerodynamic elements is installed in the front, and a diffuser is installed in the rear to reduce aerodynamic lift. New Monoblock wheels were also installed, which were specially upgraded in the tuning studio. The optimization of aerodynamics had a positive effect on the range. The power reserve increased by 7 percent when driving at speeds from 100 to 140 km/h.

As you would expect from Brabus, the future owner can choose from countless finishes and personalization of the interior – from all kinds of leather to a velour rug in the trunk.
By the way, Brabus takes on not only electric cars from Mercedes. So, back in May of this year, the Porsche Taycan Turbo S Brabus was introduced. The company’s specialists also worked on aerodynamics and decorative elements. And in the near future, the Smart #1 Brabus crossover may also debut. Prototypes of this model have been seen in China.
