Icelandic firm Arctic Trucks specializes in off-road tuning models for Ford, Isuzu, Iveco, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, and Volkswagen. Well, the other day the company finalized its first model from China. The firstborn was the medium-sized pickup Great Wall Wingle 7.
This truck is equipped with original wheel arch extenders and 17-inch wheels, “shod” with off-road tires size 315/70 with deep tread. Great Wall Wingle 7 AT35 can also boast increased to 315 mm clearance and improved geometric capability: the angles of approach and departure of the vehicle are 36 and 29 degrees, respectively.
Technical “stuffing” (engine and transmission) remained untouched, which means the modification is powered by a standard 2.0-liter GW 4D20D 143 hp (315 Nm) engine and a six-speed manual. The truck has all-wheel drive. The Chinese truck is also offered a wide range of different additional equipment, and all changes to the design are fixed in the vehicle documents. The cost of modifications in Arctic Trucks is not advertised (it depends on the customer’s wishes).
