Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team announced the immediate termination of the contract with its driver Gabriel Rodrigo in the Moto2 World Championship.
The Barcelona native, who competed in the MotoGP championship with an Argentine license, suffered a complex shoulder injury in June. The SAG Team was counting on the rider’s return to the ranks after the summer holidays, so on August 13, it became clear that Rodrigo needed additional time for rehabilitation after a complex operation.
At the Austrian Grand Prix, he was replaced by 23-year-old Japanese Taiga Hada.

And today Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team released a statement that it has reached an agreement with the pilot on early termination of the contract due to his apparent disability.
Rodrigo will not be able to return to action until the end of the season, it is quite possible that his career in the Grand Prix will end there.
In May, another team announced the immediate dismissal of the pilot and his replacement with another in the Moto2 championship: we are talking about Romano Fenati and the SpeedUp factory team, which parted with the Italian racer immediately after the Spanish Grand Prix. The owner of the team, Luca Boscoscuro, was dissatisfied with the results of Fenati, plus, there was probably friction with the pilot, who has a scandalous reputation. But everything happened so unexpectedly that it caused a wave of indignation in the paddock.
