In 2022, the famous German tuning studio AC Schnitzer celebrates its 35th anniversary. Founded in 1987, the company of Herbert Schnitzer and Willy Kohl has made a name for itself by refining BMW cars and motorcycles, as well as models of the MINI brand owned by the concern. In the anniversary year, as part of a gift to themselves and all fans of the BMW brand, German specialists have prepared a set of new parts for the BMW 2-Series Coupe (G42), and in the top-of-the-line versions of the M240i and M240i xDrive.
Tuners from Aachen made a new engine control unit, which allowed to increase the output of the 3-liter 6-cylinder engine from the base of 374 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque raised to 420 forces and 600 Nm of thrust. A stainless steel sports exhaust system is also offered.
The modified coupe, which was named AC Schnitzer ACS2 4.0i, differs from the original BMW M240i in new 19- or 20-inch wheels, which are available in several design options and colors. Additionally, you can order a new suspension with a reduction in ground clearance by 20-25 millimeters and an extension of the track by 12 millimeters.

Visual improvements include a splitter on the front bumper, a rear spoiler, as well as a protective skirt on the rear bumper under the trunk lid. The interior offers a sports steering wheel, aluminum gearshift paddles, aluminum pedal pads, and an iDrive controller, as well as a special key holder.
Improvements to transform the BMW 2 Series Coupe (G42) into the AC Schnitzer ACS2 4.0i will be available from August this year. The cost of accessories has not yet been named.
