A video has been posted on YouTube showing in detail the luxury Ford Evos station wagon, which received a 1.1-meter screen in the cabin. This car will not be sold either in America or in Europe, the car will be sold only in China.

With the cessation of production of the Mondeo earlier this year, Ford has effectively left the European D-segment, and no direct successor has been announced at the moment. However, in China, the situation is completely different, where the “blue oval” has a new-generation Mondeo and a version of the same car that looks like a crossover and is called Evos. Such a car officially debuted in April last year, and now the Wheelboy team from the YouTube channel of the same name finally got the opportunity to get behind the wheel and conduct a quick test drive of the model.

“The Evos is one of the most attractive new Ford vehicles in recent years.”

The combination of crossover, sedan, and station wagon gives it a very distinctive body shape, which slightly reminds us of the Citroen C5 X. Small design touches, such as the radiator grille and fully LED taillights, make the Evos look like a premium car.

As you can see from the attached video and photos, the appearance is not even the main highlight of the Evos design. As soon as you get into the cabin, a massive 1.1-meter screen appears on the dashboard. You will probably be tempted to say that it consists of three separate screens combined under one glass, but this is not the case. Next to the all-digital dashboard (12.3 inches) is a 4K touchscreen measuring a whopping 27 inches.

A single-engine option is available for Evos in China, at least for now. The power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost gasoline engine with a capacity of 235 horsepower (376 Nm). The 0-100 km/h sprint takes only 6.6 seconds. An eight-speed automatic transmission is aggregated with the engine.
