The network published a video shot on the estate of French engineer Pierre Heron. The man’s collection contains dozens of classic cars from the middle of the last century, which he collected in the period from 1965 to 1973. Most vehicles are covered with years of dust and rust. Despite the condition, the entire collection will be auctioned off during the auction, which will be held as part of the “24 Hours of Le Mans” in 2022.

Among the collector’s rare cars are one of 15 Talbot Lago T26 GS 1954, as well as several models of the French company Delahaye 1948, among which there is a rare convertible El Glaoui. In addition, in the collection of Pierre Heron, there is a Spanish Hispano-Suiza Type 49 coupe of the 1928 model, which is still preserved in factory condition.

Due to the long downtime, all cars require serious restoration. At the same time, the “emergency” cars will be put up to date at the Artcurial auction, which will be held as part of the “24 Hours of Le Mans” in July this year. The owner of the collection plans to get $210,000 for the most expensive copy.

In March last year, another unusual collection was discovered in a barn in the Middle East. In one of the barns of Bahrain, several rare classic cars were found.
