The Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck received a special version of the Sandblast Edition for desert racing, prepared with the participation of Ken Block. Such a truck is distinguished by rich basic equipment, sandy body color, special interior design, and wheels, and costs $98,285. The cars will go on sale in the American market in the summer.
The Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition pickup truck features a wide range of basic equipment and a special design. The SUV normally comes with the TEX Level 2 Equipment Group package, which, among other things, includes heated rear seats and steering wheel, an adjustable pedal assembly, a projection display, and a Harman Kardon audio system with 19 speakers. For $10,295, you can get all this for a regular 1500 TRX, so the Sandblast Edition is also distinguished by the body color, custom interior, and wheels.
For the special version, the sandy Mojave Sand color was chosen in combination with black graphics and 18-inch wheels compatible with blocks. The pickup truck has a panoramic sunroof and an additional LED brake light on the cab, a sprayed protective coating of the cargo compartment, and brackets for securing cargo. In the cabin, there are decorative Light Frost stitching, TRX embroidery, carbon fiber inserts, a special plate, and an image on the digital “instrument panel” of the pickup in the shade of Mojave Sand. The Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition will go on sale this summer at a price starting at $98,285.

Under the hood of the Ram 1500, TRX is a HEMI V8 6.2 with a drive supercharger, developing 712 horsepower and 881 Nm of torque. The motor is equipped with a two-flow air intake system and the largest air filter in the class that traps dust, sand, and even water. The transmission uses an eight-band automatic and a BorgWarner transfer case. The front suspension is independent, the Dana 60 bridge is mounted on five levers at the rear. Shock absorbers are electronically controlled Bilstein Black Hawk e2 with three internal compression stroke limiters and external tanks.
