The extended Suzuki Jimny has been developed for several years, but due to the coronavirus and the crisis of automotive microchips, its premiere was constantly postponed. Previously, the car has been seen many times on tests in India. It was for the Indian market that the five-door version was developed, but over time they decided to offer it for Europe as well.

Suzuki Jimny Long is elongated by 300 mm, that is, its length reaches 3850 mm, and the wheelbase is 2550 mm. The increased dimensions will help to increase the space on the second row and the volume of the trunk.

In addition, the modified radiator grille attracts attention – the three-door Jimny will also receive it when it is updated. It is expected that for Europe, the SUV will be equipped with a new 1.4-liter 129-horsepower gasoline turbo engine with a hybrid installation from Suzuki SX4 2022. In India, the 1.5-liter 102-strong four will remain. Of course, the car will receive all-wheel drive with a downshift and will retain excellent cross-country ability.
