Back in July, the startup for the production of electric vehicles Drako announced a new coupe-like crossover called Dragon. Before the official opening, a video of a new electric crossover appeared on the network, which shows how it drives on European roads.
The video was shot in Italy, based on the fact that it has an Italian license plate. In the video, Drako Dragon is slowly moving through the intersection, followed by a car with a camera. This suggests that the brand is shooting ads for an upcoming car.
It is unclear whether this is a production-ready sample or just a complex prototype. The brand promises that the Dragon will develop a capacity of 2000 hp thanks to its four electric motors. This huge power will allow the crossover with five passengers to accelerate to 96 km/h in just 1.9 seconds, overcome 400 meters in 9 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 321 km/h.
“Moreover, Drako claims to be able to do all of this while providing ‘unparalleled luxury. The startup claims that the interior will be “wrapped in the best leather in Europe, exuding luxury and comfort, with a unique stitching.” The electric car will also receive doors of the “seagull wing” type, like the Tesla Model X.”
The brand has not yet set an official date for the debut of its model but promised that the crossover will be presented before the end of 2022.
